ATTENDANCE
Attendance Policies and Procedures
Absences
Student attendance is imperative, and students who miss school are at a disadvantage academically. Because our instructional delivery is interactive and participatory, the learning experience cannot be duplicated outside of school. Parents/guardians who support their child’s attendance at school every day (except when ill) will enhance their child’s learning and that of other students.
Reporting Absences
In case of absence due to illness, parents/guardians must contact the school office by 8:30 a.m. Please call the attendance line for the Bloomington Campus at 952-426-6000, option 1 or for the Richfield Campus at 612-314-7600, option 1.
Absence for Vacation
Students are strongly discouraged from taking vacations or trips during the school year. However, if extended family trips are unavoidable, the school should be notified at least two weeks in advance.
Tardies
Tardiness is disruptive to the educational process and is inconsiderate to both teachers and other students in the class. It is imperative that students are punctual and arrive to class on time. Please make sure that your child arrives to their classroom ready and prepared to learn on time.

Student Withdrawal Form
As we confirm our enrollment projections for the 2019 – 2020 school year, we’re reaching out to our current families to ask if any students will not be returning next year. If your child is currently enrolled, they are automatically guaranteed placement for the coming school year. However, if your child(ren) will not be joining us next year, please fill out a Student Withdrawal Form so we can plan accordingly. Thank you for helping us plan for another great year!
