It is with great joy and gratitude that we announce Seven Hills Preparatory Academy was named a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education!

The National Blue Ribbon School Program is a prestigious annual award that recognizes schools for academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps. SHPA Bloomington Campus is proud to be designated as an Exemplary High Performing School nationally. Public schools are nominated by their Chief State School Officer and are then certified to ensure they meet the requirements established by the U.S. Department of Education. Seven Hills representatives will receive this award in a formal ceremony in Washington D.C. in November 2022.

We are proud to have achieved this coveted status by engaging students deeply and inclusively in a rigorous Classical education, through our care for academic excellence for all, and our commitment to our mission and vision during our daily actions and decisions. This recognition affirms the dedication and performance of our collective staff, students, and families to continue to make us an award-winning, high-quality, outstanding charter public school in Minnesota and the United States.
